Police reported severe injuries for a person stabbed in a section of Jersey City Monday afternoon.
Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Bergen Avenue and Montgomery Street to investigate reports of a person stabbed shortly before 2:45 p.m.
Upon arrival, police found an alert and conscious person suffering stab wounds at that location.
The victim was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment and was reportedly in serious condition.
The motive for the attack is under investigation, and no arrests have been reported.
