NJ State Police are investigating a crash that killed a Hudson County man on an interstate in Warren County Friday evening.
State police officials said Troopers responded to reports of a crash at 5:21 p.m. in the westbound lanes of I-80 near milepost 11.6, Hope Township.
Officials said that based on a preliminary investigation, a Honda motorcycle and Volvo tractor-trailer were traveling west on I-80.
The Volvo impacted the rear of the Honda and the driver, Mr. Desmond A. Gomes, 32, from Jersey City, was ejected and sustained fatal injuries.
The investigation into the collision remains active.
