Police in Hudson County are currently on the lookout for two suspects wanted in connection with a carjacking incident that occurred in a neighborhood on Sunday morning.
The Jersey City Police Department responded to an address in the 300 block of Danforth Avenue around 3 a.m. after receiving reports of an ongoing carjacking.
Upon their arrival at the scene, law enforcement officials were informed by the vehicle owner that two Hispanic males armed with a firearm had approached and demanded his burgundy 2017 Honda.
The car in question has a New Jersey license plate number "N937-JVM."
Reports say no physical injuries were reported during the incident. However, the suspects managed to flee the scene and are currently at large.
Authorities are urging anyone with information related to this carjacking to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
