Police in Jersey City are searching for a suspect who robbed a 7-Eleven convenience store on Saturday afternoon.
Officers were called to 41 Central Avenue following reports of an armed robbery in progress.
When police arrived, employees told them a male suspect entered the store brandishing a knife and demanded cash.
He fled the scene on foot with an unknown amount of money.
Authorities canvassed the area but, as of early Sunday morning, no arrests had been made. No injuries were reported during the incident.
The suspect remains at large, and the investigation is ongoing.
