Jersey City Police are looking into the details of a stabbing incident that resulted in a person being rushed to the emergency room late Sunday night.
The situation happened when officials at Christ Hospital were prompted to contact the police after an unidentified individual sought emergency care for stab wounds to their back and shoulder.
Responding officers arrived at the hospital to gather information from the victim.
The individual disclosed that the violent encounter occurred in the area of Central Avenue and Booraem Avenue before they made their way to the medical facility for treatment.
