Jersey City police are actively investigating a stabbing incident that left one person seriously injured on Tuesday night.
The altercation occurred around 7 p.m. in the 500 block of Washington Boulevard.
Responding to 911 calls reporting a bleeding individual, police found the victim at the scene with two stab wounds. Despite their injuries, the victim remained alert and conscious.
Both of the stab wounds were notably in the abdomen.
Emergency services swiftly transported the victim to Jersey City Medical Center for immediate treatment. According to reports, the victim is now in stable condition.
As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the stabbing.
Police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances that led to this violent incident.
