Jersey City Medical Center, SneakerRoom Foundation Call for Participation from Local Artists

Jersey City

Jersey City Medical Center, an affiliate of RWJBarnabas Health, and Suraj Kaufman of Jersey City’s SneakerRoom Foundation are collaborating to create a Window Mural Project.

Local artists are invited to submit artwork for consideration.

The Window Mural Project is an opportunity for local artists to show their pride in Jersey City, have their artwork displayed prominently at the Medical Center and contribute to the beautification of the Jersey City community.

“Art is often unifying and healing; it can create a sense of community and engagement for patients and families,” said Michael Prilutsky, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jersey City Medical Center.

“As an anchor institution in Jersey City and Hudson County, we welcome the artist community to participate in this opportunity to enhance our powers of healing, and at the same time, to beautify our neighborhood."

  • Healing
  • Compassion

To submit artwork for consideration, please send a JPG file no later than March 31 to the Sneaker Room Foundation at: sneakerroomnj@gmail.com.
