Jersey City Man Charged with Selling Firearms to Undercover Officer

Authorities in Hudson County announced that a 20-year-old man has been arrested on multiple firearms offenses following an investigation by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force and the United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives.

AdOfficials stated that Emerson Deline, of Jersey City, is charged with two counts of Unlawful Possession of a Weapon and two counts of Unlawful Disposition of a Firearm.

He was arrested on Thursday, March 28, 2024, on Grand Street in Jersey City by members of the Narcotics Task Force, officials said.

According to officials, a Judge of the Superior Court granted the State’s Motion for Detention on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.

During the investigation, officials say, Deline sold a handgun to an undercover police officer on January 4, 2024, and again on January 12, 2024.
