A lucky Hudson County player struck it big this weekend, winning $296,935 — the entire New Jersey Lottery Fast Play Progressive jackpot.
According to information released by the New Jersey Lottery, the winning Jersey Jackpot! ticket was purchased Saturday at One Hope Mini Market, located at 246 Griffith Street in Jersey City.
With the grand prize now claimed, the Fast Play Progressive jackpot has reset to approximately $50,000.
Fast Play Progressive tickets can be purchased at any New Jersey Lottery retailer and give players an instant chance to find out if they’ve won.
Each game contributes to a shared progressive jackpot, and the payout depends on the ticket’s price point:
• $20 and $10 tickets win 100% of the jackpot
• $5 tickets win 50% of the jackpot
• $2 tickets win 20% of the jackpot
• $1 tickets win 10% of the jackpot
