Jersey City Dispatcher Charged with Computer Crime

Authorities in Hudson County announced that on Tuesday, November 28, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Investigations Unit arrested a Jersey City 9-1-1 dispatcher for a computer crime.AdAccording to officials, Rose Davis, 58, of Jersey City, is charged with one count of Computer Criminal Activity.

She was arrested at the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in Secaucus and released pending her first court appearance, officials said.

Officials stated it is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, December 7, 2023.

Authorities say an investigation conducted with the assistance of the Jersey City Special Investigations Unit found that on July 15, 2023, Davis used her position as a Telecommunications Supervisor to obtain records and personal identifying information, which she was not authorized to keep for her own records.
