An investigation is underway into a crash that sent four people to area hospitals late last night in Jersey City.
First responders and rescue crews rushed to the area on Van Cleef Street and Fulton Ave. for a car crash that had several occupants trapped in a vehicle.
A 4-year-old and a 6-year-old was removed from the vehicle and rushed to University Hospital in Newark where they reportedly suffered serious injuries. Two adults were transported to Jersey City Medical Center where they were expected to survive their injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
