Authorities in Jersey City are on the search for two armed robbery suspects that struck overnight in the city.
Police responded to the area of Mallory Ave. near Claremont Avenue on reports of an armed robbery that occurred at around 12:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, police located a victim who reported being robbed at gunpoint by two black males.
The victim reported being robbed of a Samsung phone, backpack, and a wallet when the suspects approached, pointed the weapon, and ordered all personal possessions.
The suspects were described as two black males wearing dark colored hooded jackets. The men fled the scene toward the light rail station.
There were no injuries reported.
