One lucky ticket matched all five numbers drawn winning the $68,763 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Monday, June 18 drawing.
The winning numbers were: 01, 17, 25, 37 and 43 and the XTRA number was: 04. The lucky retailer that sold the winning ticket is Cobblestone Wine & Spirits, 855 West Park Ave., Ocean in Monmouth County.
Acting Executive Director John M. White said, “We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Cobblestone Wine & Spirits. The retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling the winning ticket. Overnight, they have become one more ‘lucky location’ for the very fortunate lottery winner.”
White announced that there were 235,694 tickets purchased for the drawing. By adding XTRA, for an additional $1.00 per play, winners are able to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by the XTRA number drawn. For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 28 ticketholders won $646 each and 8 others won $2,584 each with the addition of XTRA.
Moreover, for correctly matching three of the five numbers drawn, 1,191 ticketholders won $18 each and 240 others won $72 each with the addition of XTRA.
Lastly 2,953 ticketholders each won $2 for correctly matching two of the five numbers drawn with the addition of XTRA on their purchase.
