One lucky ticket matched all five numbers drawn winning the $380,879 Jersey Cash 5 jackpot from the Tuesday, July 17 drawing.
The winning numbers were: 16, 18, 20, 37 and 41 and the XTRA number was: 03. The lucky retailer that sold the winning ticket is **Two Sons, 773 Springfield Ave., Irvington** in Essex County.
Acting Executive Director John M. White said, “We are thrilled that the winning jackpot ticket was sold at Two Sons. The retailer will receive a bonus check for $2,000 for selling the winning ticket. Overnight, they have become one more ‘lucky location’ for the very fortunate lottery winner.”
White announced that there were 449,890 tickets purchased for the drawing. By adding XTRA, for an additional $1.00 per play, winners are able to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by the XTRA number drawn. For correctly matching four of the five numbers drawn, 52 ticketholders won 704 each and 11 others won $2,112 each with the addition of XTRA.
Moreover, for correctly matching three of the five numbers drawn, 2,384 ticketholders won $17 each and 363 others won $51 each with the addition of XTRA.
Lastly 4,845 ticketholders each won $2 for correctly matching two of the five numbers drawn with the addition of XTRA on their purchase.
