New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James A. Carey is urging New Jersey Lottery players to get their Jersey Cash 5 tickets as early as possible in advance of tonight’s drawing, which is worth an estimated $2.094 million top prize
“The Jersey Cash 5 jackpot has been growing over the past few drawings and is now the largest jackpot for this game, ready to be won soon by a New Jersey Lottery player,” said Carey.
“For a Lottery game that is drawn daily, this is certainly a large jackpot, so we’re sure that today will be a busy day for our retailers.”
Carey noted that “Jersey Cash 5 players have been extremely lucky, and the jackpot hasn’t had a chance to grow to this level since October 15, 2022, when the jackpot was $1.93 million.
There have been 54 jackpot wins since that date, including the $1.4 million jackpot on April 20 of this year.
This jackpot shatters the previous record for this game, which was set on January 23, 2021 at $2.033 million.”
