Irvington Township native Ms. Ruth Casseus is making headlines as she prepares to represent Team USO at the 2023 TCS New York City Marathon.
With a remarkable background in both military service and financial expertise, Ruth is ready to dedicate her efforts to the United Service Organizations (USO) by raising funds for the organization.

Officials said Ruth spent five years serving in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Boatswain's Mate Handler, with a significant portion of her military career aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan.
After leaving the service, she found her calling in financial services and currently serves as an investor relations associate at FVLCRUM Funds.
Having experienced the support and impact of the USO firsthand during her time in the Navy, Ruth is now eager to give back and help fulfill the organization's mission.
Her goal is to raise $7,500 on behalf of the USO, and she has set up a fundraising page HERE for those interested in supporting this essential cause.

As she trains for the marathon, Ruth's dedication to the USO and her community is commendable.
