Police in Irvington are investigating a robbery that was reported in the Township overnight.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the vicinity of 16th Avenue and Grove Street at around 11:15 p.m. after they received reports of a person that was robbed at that location.
Units arrived at the scene and found the unidentified victim who reported being robbed by as many as four black male suspects who wore masks and were all armed with weapons.
According to reports, the suspects took personal possessions before speeding from the scene in a black vehicle -possibly a Honda-.
The vehicle has a reported NJ license plate number "U33-FNA".
There were no physical injuries immediately reported.
