The 200 Club of Essex County presented a Valor Award to Irvington Police Officer Edward Pearce (center) for single-handed capture on an armed suspect.
The ceremony took place on Thursday at Nanina's in the Park, Belleville.
On hand to congratulate the officer were 200 Club President Lori Hennon Bell and Irvington Police Captain Stephen Yannotti.
