Irvington, New York Men Charged with Armed Robbery, Weapons Offenses

Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrests of Arrin Barber, 53, of Irvington and Thomas Parker, Sr., 47, of New York, NY, on armed robbery and weapons charges. 

According to Prosecutor Musella, during an eleven-months-long investigation by detectives from the BCPO, Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, Ridgefield Park Police Department, and the New York City Police Department, Barber and Parker were identified as suspects in an armed robbery that occurred in Ridgefield Park, on October 31, 2020.

Prosecutor Musella said on Wednesday, June 23, members of the BCPO, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Ridgefield Park Police Department arrested Barber without incident outside his home in Irvington.

According to Prosecutor Musella, on Wednesday, September 15, members of the BCPO, Ridgefield Park Police Department, and the New York City Police Department executed a search warrant at the residence of Parker. Subsequently, Parker was taken into custody and arrested without incident. 

Prosecutor Musella said that Barber and Parker were each charged with armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, armed burglary of a vehicle, possession of a weapon (handgun) for an unlawful purpose, possession of a weapon (handgun) without a permit, possession of a weapon (handgun, certain persons offense), aggravated assault and theft.
