An overnight armed carjacking reported Irvington Township is under investigation by police.
According to preliminary reports, the incident occurred just outside the Irvington Park located in the 600 block of Lyons Avenue before 11 p.m.
A male suspect, armed with a gun, reportedly approached the driver of a white 2016 BMW X6 and demanded then sped away in the vehicle.
The vehicle has a reported NJ license plate number "A89-GZG".
There were no physical injuries reported.
