Police requested EMS to the scene of a stabbing that left a person injured in Jersey City Thursday night.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to reports of an injured person at a location in the vicinity of Bostwick Avenue and Martin Luther King Drive shortly before 9 p.m.
Officer arrived at the scene and found the unidentified victim suffering stab injuries at that location.
Police say the victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center where doctors treated non-fatal injuries according to reports.
The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation and no arrests have been made.
