The State Regional Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of death for a male found dead inside a vehicle in Elizabeth Saturday afternoon.
According to Elizabeth city officials, at approximately 2:30 p.m., a resident dialed 911 after they found an unconscious and unresponsive male inside a minivan in the vicinity of Sheridan Avenue and Durant. Street.
Elizabeth Police said the unidentified male was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into what caused the person’s death is in the early stages.
There were no other injuries reported.
