Mercer County authorities are investigating the motive behind a shooting that injured two people in Trenton overnight.
According to the investigation, at approximately 11:05 p.m., officials at Capital Health Regional Medical Center notified police when two male victims entered the emergency room suffering gunshot wounds.
The pair were treated for non-life threatening injuries, but police have not ascertained a location where the shooting occurred.
The Trenton Police Department is currently investigating the shooting.
No other injuries were reported.
