There were non-life threatening injuries reported for several victims involved in a physical altercation that broke out during a party that occurred in Newark's North Ward on Sunday morning.
According to preliminary reports, residents in the 700 block of Noth 6th Street called the police to investigate loud noise coming from a nearby home just before 1:30 a.m.
Police arrived in the area immediately notified EMS after locating several bleeding people who were involved in a physical altercation during a party at that location.
Medical personnel treated the victims for minor injuries while police launched an investigation into what transpired during the fights.
The incident remains under investigation.
