South Brunswick Fire officials are reporting that a hotel guest suffered non-life threatening injuries after fire broke out inside the establishment on Thursday night.
According to reports, firefighters were called to the Princeton Sonesta Suites located in the 4200 block of US-1 just before 10:15 p.m.
Firefighters arrived at the scene found fire inside one of the hotel rooms fire officials say.
Crews were able to quickly knock the blaze down before it extended to other rooms in the building.
Fire officials say the victim was treated for smoke inhalation and is expected to make a full recovery.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
