Police in Newark are investigating an overnight car crash that sent several people to the hospital.
The crash happened in the vicinity of 55 Spruce Street just before 3:30 a.m. where emergency responded to find damaged vehicles with at least three victims injured according to preliminary reports.
EMS transported the victims to University Hospital where none of the injuries were reported as life-threatening.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
