Several people were transported to the hospital after a crash on a highway in South Jersey left the injured.
According to preliminary reports, the two-car crash happened on the Garden State Parkway northbound land near exit 90 at around 2:35 a.m.
Emergency responders from Brick Township and Lakewood arrived to assist a seriously injured occupant from one of the vehicles.
Police say two others suffered non-life threatening injuries. All the patients were taken to Jersey Shore Medical Center for treatment.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
