Newark Police officials are on the search for several juvenile suspects who beat and robbed a person in the city’s downtown on Sunday morning.
According to preliminary reports, the incident happened at approximately 12:35 a.m. in the single digit block of Bleeker.
Police say they arrived at the scene and found the victim bleeding after four teenaged suspects punched him several times in the face.
EMS treated the victim for non-life threatening injuries while firefighter were called in to wash away blood on the street.
The victim's wallet and other personal possessions were taken according to the police.
Police say the suspects remain at large.
