Atlantic County officials announced that the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred in Mays Landing on Wednesday morning has been identified as Wayne Brown, 25, of Atlantic City.
Atlantic City Police received a 911 call, at 11:45 a.m. on August 12, reporting a shooting.
Officers responded to the Madison Hotel at 125 S Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd and located Brown on the 11th floor with an apparent gunshot wound.
This cooperative investigation is continuing by the ACPO Major Crimes Unit and the Atlantic City Police Department.
