Police are searching for a suspect wanted for a strong-armed robbery at a pharmacy in Jersey City on Monday evening.
Officers were dispatched to the Summit Healthcare Pharmacy to investigate reports of a robbery in progress around 6:40 p.m.
Police arrived and were informed that a thief snatched large bottles of cough syrups and about 500 Oxycontin pills.
Preliminary reports say the suspect fled the scene with the medicine and remains at large.
