Human Remains Found in Galloway Township Identified as Missing New York Man

Authorities in Atlantic County announced that human remains were found in the area of the 100 block of South Pomona Road in Galloway Township in June of 2021 and were recently identified.AdThe remains were identified as a man reported missing out of New York in 2011, officials stated. 

Officials said Kevin Morris was 32 years of age when he was reported missing in Staten Island, New York, in October 2011.

The circumstances surrounding his death are currently under investigation by the Major Crimes Unit of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, and anyone who may have information regarding his death or disappearance is encouraged to contact law enforcement, officials say. 

According to officials, this is a cooperative investigation between the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office’s Major Crimes Unit, Galloway Township Police Department, New Jersey State Police Office of Forensic Sciences, and Southern Regional Medical Examiner Office.AdAnyone with information involving this incident is asked to call the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office at 609-909-7800 or go to the Prosecutor’s Office Web site at ACPO.
