Several members of the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office were recently recognized by federal partners and law enforcement organizations for exceptional investigative work carried out throughout 2025. 
Acting Hudson County Prosecutor Wayne Mello announced that six investigators received honors reflecting their dedication to public safety, forensic excellence, and the pursuit of justice.
Acting Prosecutor Mello said the office is fortunate to have “some of the finest and most talented law enforcement professionals in the nation,” noting that the honorees exemplify the commitment required to hold offenders accountable and protect Hudson County residents.

Detective Katelyn Robertello of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and Detective Josh Skolnick of the Cybercrimes Unit received the Significant Case Award from the U.S. Secret Service for their roles in a child sexual abuse material investigation that led to the arrest of a Kearny man.
Detective Skolnick was also recognized separately by the National Computer Forensics Institute as one of the top-performing forensic investigators in the country.
Detective Sean Kennedy and Detective Gregory Bleich, both previously assigned to the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force, were honored by the Federal Law Enforcement Foundation for their work on the Hudson/Passaic County fugitive team.
That team has taken more than 200 fugitives into custody this year, including a suspect tied to a 2024 Jersey City homicide. 
Detective Kennedy additionally received the United States Marshals Service Case of the Year Award for his role in locating a man wanted in connection with a 2025 Jersey City homicide.
Kennedy continues to serve with the Marshals Service in an on-loan capacity.
Lieutenant Nicole Bradley and Detective Michael Patti, both members of the Gang Task Force, were also recognized by the Federal Law Enforcement Foundation as Investigators of the Year.
Their efforts in a multi-agency operation resulted in 19 arrests, along with the recovery of seven guns and various illegal drugs.

Chief of Detectives Matthew Gasiorowski said the achievements highlight the office’s ongoing commitment to safeguarding Hudson County.
He praised the honorees for their professionalism and said he looks forward to their continued success into the upcoming year.
