House Struck by Bullets in Newark South Ward Shooting

Police reported property damage in a shooting incident in a section of Newark's South Ward Saturday night. 

According to police, gunfire rang out in the area of 80 Seymour Avenue around 10:15 p.m. 

Officers arrived at the scene found a home struck by bullets, but no victims were found after police searched the area. 

Police recovered several shell casings at the scene of the shooting. 

No one inside the house was injured in the shooting and the motive is under investigation. 

The suspect fled the scene and is at large.
