Summer-like temperatures continue across Newark and the North Jersey region as we begin the new week.
Good Monday morning! We are waking up to another beautiful start to the day, but conditions will turn hot, humid, and sticky by the afternoon.
If you are heading out the door early this morning, it is currently 74 degrees in Newark with comfortable conditions to start the day.
Light summer clothing is recommended because it will definitely feel like summer across the region.
According to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny with a high near 93 degrees.
Light and variable winds will become southeast at 8 to 13 mph during the afternoon.
Tonight will remain mostly clear, with temperatures falling to around 73 degrees. Southwest winds will be around 7 mph.
