Police are asking residents to remain vigilant of suspicious activity as they search for the person(s) responsible for leaving homemade tire slashing devices near driveways.
According to Vernon Township police, over the past couple of weeks, someone has been placing homemade tire slashing devices at the entrances to farm roads and driveways.
Officials are asking residents to report all suspicious vehicles and persons, especially in the overnight hours.
Anyone who has farm-like property should check the end of the driveway before pulling in or out.
