There is an active search for two suspects wanted for an home invasion robbery that happened late last night in Newark.
Police were call to the 90's block of Prince Street shortly before 10:30 p.m. on reports of a burglary in progress.
Arriving units located occupants of a residence who told them that a short time before they arrived to the scene, two black males (who were armed with guns) forced their way into the residence.
While inside the home, the men pointing weapons in the direction of the residents then violently shouted demands for cash and other items according to the victims.
The men were described as two black males wearing dark clothing. Both men were reportedly armed with weapons.
It is not immediately known what was taken from the residence during the robbery.
The Newark Police Department are investigating.
