Home Invasion Robbery Suspects Target Same House Twice in Paterson Overnight

A double home invasion robbery that occurred overnight at a residence in Paterson has authorities investigating.

Police were initially called to the teens block of Holsman Street after receiving calls of a home invasion robbery at around 2:30 a.m. according to initial reports.

Arriving units were informed that two black male suspects, who were wearing Halloween masks and dark clothing, forced their ways into the residence armed with guns.

The men reportedly fired a shot before escaping the scene reports said.

No one was injured during the robbery.

After police wrapped up their investigation into the incident, cops were called back to the same address shortly before 6:30 a.m. for reports of another home invasion robbery that had occurred.

Several police units flooded the area where they located two suspects who were fitting the physical description for the second incident and placed the pair under arrests.

Police found a gun and the resident's purse in the suspects' possession in the area of Haledon Avenue and North Main Street reports said.

It is not clear if the men are responsible for the first robbery.

There were no injuries immediately reported.
