EMS transported one person to the hospital suffering injuries after being struck by a vehicle overnight in North Arlington.
The incident happened near a bar in the 500 block of Ridge Road at around midnight where emergency responders rushed to the scene after receiving reports of a person injured at that location.
Witnesses said that the light or white colored vehicle struck the victim then sped away from the scene.
Police checked cameras in the area in an attempt to get a positive identification of the vehicle and suspect.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
