Hit-and-Run Driver Sought After Striking Pedestrian in Passaic County

Authorities are actively searching for the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run incident that left a pedestrian injured in Woodland Park on Sunday night.

The incident occurred around 7:15 p.m. in the vicinity of 1145 McBride Avenue.

Local law enforcement and EMS quickly responded to the scene and found the victim suffering from serious injuries.

Preliminary investigations suggest that a black Honda struck the pedestrian and then fled the scene.

The injured individual was promptly transported to St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson for treatment and is expected to recover.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to locate and apprehend the driver responsible for the hit-and-run.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to come forward and assist in the investigation.
