The driver of a vehicle ran from the scene after crashing into a car in Hillside overnight.
The incident happened near the intersection of Wolf Place and Young Avenue after 13:30 a.m. where police arrived upon a crash with a vehicle overturned at that location.
A search of the overturned vehicle came up empty with residents saying the driver sprinted away from the scene immediately after the crash.
EMS treated at least one occupant of the other involved vehicle for non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect was only described as a black male wearing dark clothing. The suspect's vehicle was possibly stolen reports said.
Police are continuing to investigate.
