Firefighters evacuated a building on the border of East Orange/Newark after finding high levels of carbon monoxide late Tuesday night.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to 490 4th Avenue West to investigate reports of suspicious activities.
Upon arrival, firefighters found extremely high CO readings in the basement of the building that traveled to parts of the structure according to reports.
There were no injuries reports.
