According to information released by the USDA, the product in question is a 10-ounce clear plastic clamshell package labeled “TRADER JOE’S TURKEY GOBBLER WRAP” with a “BEST BY SEP 16, 2025” date

The wrap was produced on September 10, 2025, and bears the establishment number “P-1644” inside the USDA inspection mark.

It was distributed to Trader Joe’s locations across the country.

The issue was discovered after the manufacturer conducted routine surface testing and found Listeria contamination on food contact surfaces linked to this product.

While there have been no confirmed illnesses reported at this time, health officials urge anyone who may have consumed the wrap and is feeling ill to consult a healthcare provider.

A recall was not initiated because the affected product is no longer available for purchase.

However, the FSIS is issuing the public alert to raise awareness for those who may still have the item in their possession.

Consumers are advised to discard the product if they still have it at home.
