Hawthorne Traffic Stop Leads to Seizure of Liquid THC, Nearly 100 Xanax, Drug Paraphernalia

Two men were arrested on numerous drug-related charges after a routine traffic stop.

According to authorities, police pulled over a vehicle in the area of Massachusetts Avenue and Seneca Trace after the driver failed to use a turn signal.

Officials say when the officer approached the vehicle, the odor of suspected pot emanated from the vehicle. Further investigation revealed the driver, 25-year-old Alexi Emmanuel Negron, was in possession of liquid THC cartridges and drug paraphernalia.

Police also found his passenger, Emmanuel Ramirez-Colon, 28, of Middletown, NY, in possession of cartridges, 93 Xanax bar, sand plastic baggies. In addition, both men were found in possession of vapes and pipes commonly used to ingesting drugs.

Officers ultimately arrested both men on drug charges.
