A crash that involved a motorcycle on a Hawthorne street left one person gravely injured Sunday night.
It happened just before 10 p.m. in the 400 block of Lafayette Avenue where emergency responder rushed to the scene after receiving reports of a motorcycle crash with injuries reported.
Upon their arrival at the scene, crews found the damaged motorcycle and the victim suffering massive injuries according to preliminary reports.
Police set up a crash investigation scene where they began the process of determining what caused the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
