A Harrison Police Department dispatcher is facing arrest on charges of possessing over 1,000 images of explicit images of minors.

This development follows a collaborative investigation involving the Harrison and Secaucus Police Departments and the New Jersey State Police.AdThe investigation began in 2022 when Secaucus Police Department detectives joined forces with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force – New Jersey, led by the New Jersey State Police, as stated by Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller.

In October 2023, a significant breakthrough came when the Secaucus Police Department received a tip.

The information suggested that a file containing explicit images of minors had been either viewed or uploaded through an account.

Officials said the IP address used for this activity was traced back to a cellular tower within Secaucus, prompting further inquiry.
