Hammonton Man Arrested on Multiple Drug Charges

A Hammonton man is charged with multiple drug charges, following the execution of a search warrant at his residence, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.

The Atlantic County Prosecutors Office Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Unit, the FBI Safe Streets Task Force and the Hammonton Police Department on Mar. 29th, executed a search warrant at the residence of Juan Reyes in Hammonton.

The execution of the search warrant was the result of an investigation into the distribution of heroin and crack cocaine throughout Atlantic County.

As a result of the investigation, the following items were recovered:

* Approximately 4 ounces of crack cocaine

* Approximately 1 ounce of crystal methamphetamine

* 2 grams of uncut/unpackaged heroin

Subsequently police arrested Juan Reyes and charged him with Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine, Possession of Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Crystal Methamphetamine, and Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine.

According to officials, Reyes was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending a detention hearing.

These charges are merely an accusation and not proof of guilt. In all criminal cases, a charged defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
