Police are looking for a person who they say showed up with a hammer at a Wallington gas station and robbed the gas attendant Tuesday morning.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to the Citgo gas station - located on the 100 block of Wallington Avenue - shortly before 8:30 a.m. for a report of an armed robbery.
The suspect, who was armed with a hammer, made off with approximately $300 in cash.
The robbery is currently under investigation.
