An investigation led by the Hackensack Police Department assisted by the United States Marshal Service and the Kingston Borough Police Department of Pennsylvania led authorities to the apprehension of Tyquan Lassiter, 26, of Hackensack for a homicide.
According to preliminary reports, Lassiter was wanted by Kingston Police for a homicide that occurred on September 10th.
Lassiter was arrested without incident at his home and subsequently transferred to the Bergen County Jail.
Cross-jurisdictional violent crime requires law enforcement agencies to share information and partner to ensure that suspects are identified and apprehended regardless of where they flee.
