Guns, Xanax Pills Found in Ocean County Drug Bust; Toms River Man Released on Summons

Ocean County authorities took a man into custody after allegedly finding him in possession of drugs and guns during a police raid on Friday.

According to a statement released by the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office, police seized illegal drugs, guns and cash from a Toms River residence then charged Mr. Peter Keith Paul, 45, with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute.

According to Ocean County authorities, police searched Paul's residence and found a large quantity of Xanax pills and the narcotic Suboxone.

Officers also seized the pills along with two handguns and about $4,400 in cash, according to Ocean County authorities.

Paul was released on summons following his arrest.

Detectives from the prosecutor's office, Ocean County Sheriff's Office and Toms River police executed the search warrant.
