The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating a shooting that left a man dead in Irvington Saturday.
At approximately 12:25 a.m., police responded to reports of shots fired in the 20’s block of Averne Terrace.
When Irvington Police arrived, they found Mr. Alexander Saye suffering multiple gunshot wounds at 22 Averne Terrace.
Medical professionals pronounced Saye dead at the scene.
The suspects fled the scene and are at large.
There were no other injuries reported.
